TOUR SUPPORT LINE UP
Check out our main support band from San Diego: Ives the Band. They're a great fit... melodic, song-driven, lots of keys/guitars, Beatlesque, indie-pop... and super nice guys; we couldn't ask for more - except that our very own sister - Christie could open for us. Call it a family affair; she's opening the show accompanied by our younger brother Collin. Not gonna lie - we're super excited to introduce her and her music to you guys. Read the Dallas Observer's review of her first show: "...a collection of breezy Joni-Mitchell-by-way-of Iron & Wine songs..."
TOURING, TOURING, TOURING.
With no new record out, some might ask "why tour"? Here's what Stacy had to say in an interview with the Detroit Examiner about this tour (and the new record). Truth: our long history for consistent touring was pushed into sporadi-dom in the months/years following our 2nd WB release. Our main support tour with Say Anything in '09 was long overdue. We followed up with a short Midwest jaunt this Summer and are are now embarking on our first, full-on, US headlining tour in 2 years.
PROGRESS
It's not like we've been sitting around at a Starbucks waiting for something good to happen. Just the opposite. Since the time regularly road ripping was happening, there have been 4 marriages and a full length album recorded (10 of the 12 songs are mixed). We are going over a final agreement with a new indie label who we feel a connection with; they truly love our music. We should be making that announcement very soon. The plan is to release this long awaited album late Winter or early Spring. This is not Eisley crying wolf.
