THIS GOOD VIBE TOUR STARTS OCTOBER 17TH IN CALIFORNIA. Eisley's Fall tour w/ Switchfoot
This will be Eisley's last '05 Tour in the USA. :- ( I know, it's sad; and it's been an amazing year, but we're really thankful for this opportunity to get back on the road, especially w/ Switchfoot. People are saying this will be one Eisley's best tours... and perhaps, one of the most productive tours of the year. Here are some of my ideas as to why that could be true: #1. Like with other noteworthy successful tours, Switchfoot asked Eisley out. Some-times it starts with industry peeps; but when it comes from the band, it's just different; Good vibe between bands makes for really... ( continue the discussion on Laughing City. Note: Eisley is main support )
If you want to follow detailed accounts of each show with pics and live media, Tour journals will pick up the week before the show. I already been posting information about the tour on line. Also, the same showdates listed below are on our site. If you accidently delete this e-mail, go there. Oh, and on our myspace page if you please. (woah... what in the world is going on with this rapid influx of friends? where are you guys coming from?)
TICKETS!: Advanced tickets go on sale: tomorrow, the day of the Switchfoot's album release - Sept. 13th on musictoday.com , which I believe is a member-ship site with user/pass... so you should go check it out early and sign up, etc. The National on-sale date is Sept. 17th - I presume info will appear on Switchfoot's site.? Not sure. Will post on our site prior. Guys, I hate to say it, but these aren't huge venues. I've been told that the tickets will "blow out"... that is, that the shows will sell out very quickly.
These are the final 21 Eisley shows in the US for 2005 as far as I understand. That's my advanced warning to Eisley fans. Thanks for being so supportive this year. Thanks WB for sending this band all over this amazing US of A. Here are the Switchfoot/Eisley dates.

THINK 60'S RETRO-FUTURE, 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY. THINK STERILE. New music video Soon to be released. See clip.
Front shot of band performing and (R) the warehouse studio showing the gear and the stage.
"I Wasn't Prepared". Filmed the day after the Troubadour show in LA
Simply, it appears that this is going to be Eisley's best video. Read detailed journals about how the very song was changed the night before the shoot. Watch my QuickTime clip from footage taken the day of the shoot... and follow the journal for soon to be posted news about the release date. Read about Marvin Garrett - owner/editor of Nylon Magazine, (and let's not forget my favorite - Ray Gun in the 90's) who's zeal and love for Eisley's music has given way to this gracious team of 50 talented writers, producers, cameramen, lighting crew, make up, wardrobe, art directors and talent... to help make this video so good. Sincere thanks and love to everyone who gave their time and put their heart into this video. You guys were incredible.

NEW MAGAZINE. BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHY. GREAT ARTICLES. Interlude Magazine
photo: LeAnn Mueller
Eisley Interview. October Issue. Check it out. You can order the magazine on line with an option for one of two different covers. The Eisley article is a big one... inside spread with a bunch of pages/pics. This random interview at the Starbucks down the street from Majestic Ventura Theatre when Eisley was out with Hot Hot Heat in Ventura, CA. (same venue they'll be with Switchfoot on opening day of the tour). Anyway, it's an interesting article. I read some of it and I'm sure there'll be comments and small pics on line after it's out. p.s. the people who run this magazine are super cool, friendly and smart. On their site, there's a place to check how you heard about Interlude. Eisley is the correct answer :-)

EISLEY'S WORLD HAS BEEN CHANGING. STAY TUNED FOR NEW News.
These luxurious pics are symbols - to convey the idea that Eisley will come to you. Stay tuned.
It's not here but It's coming. Year end/2006 strategies/plans. The band is going to enjoy a short time off, but soon thereafter will have to really roll up their sleeves. It's going to get crazier before it gets easier... and, it's never going to get easy so... it's all about trying to have fun while working hard, I guess. Rest? What's rest. We'll be talking about all of this on Laughing City. Or, it could also be on Eisley's website:
Because: We're adding some cool features to the website. I can't wait. Soon, my stupid boyd-journals (with more live media than ever) will be on the main site... and guess what else: band journals. (!) Yes. Individual blogs w/ features for each member to put pics, vid's, whatevers'. These will grace the main website and potentially fill your caffeinated heads with the hazardous, viral effect of Over-eisleyness. This is something I've wanted since the beginning. Finally, new data-base driven code is affording this luxury: we're working out which journals will duplicate themselves on both simultaneously - and even more interactively on Laughing City.
I don't know which band members will post the most, but I know they've expressed big interest in having this feature. Obviously certain band members will blog more than others, i'm sure... ha ha. It'll be interesting. whatever.
Also, we're restructuring the video page... to accommodate for more. more. more video's. I want all of these video's... new clips and ancient ones available. And, we have to get Garron pics up on the photo page. (garron is amazing as you Yahoo! show attendee's found out.) Well, gotta go.
i hope to meet you guys soon.
Thanks for reading and loving Eisley's music.
boyd
p.s. They're writing songs like psychotic squirrels bury nuts for the winter. New record next year. I'll post all their new song ideas on the forum. just kidding.
