you can't like the middle one...billy boyd is so much nicer to look at. Think again. Dominic rocks my socks. I do agree about Billy Boyd, but he's not in that picture, unfortunately. too bad I wasn't here later...that woulda been my first guess.... ******* the changing subject row of asterisk********************* how can both of those be squirly... ****the getting confused row of asterisks******************* ..he looks like a dirtier version of my guitar teachers son..... _________________ my flickr |

My friend and I went to the Troubadour for the Eisley concert. The 1st opening act was Richard Swift. He and his band rocked and rolled. At times he reminded me of Rufus Wainwright...maybe that was just me? Next up was Annie Stela. Her voice is so beautiful. I'm jealous. Her songs sounded like something I would like to listen to as I gently fall asleep. After a bit of waiting, Eisley took to the stage. They were so magnificent! The songs I can remember that they played are Sea King, Marvelous Things, Memories, Mr. Pine, Vintage People, They All Surrounded Me, Golly Sandra, Tree Tops, Over the Mountains, Lost At Sea, I Wasn't Prepared, and an encore of Telescope Eyes (crowd pick) and Trolley Wood. It was lovely, really. Sherri and Stacy sang beautifully (Sherri had these crazy glow-in-the-dark lightning bolt earrings). Since we were right up front and center, Stacy's massive keyboards were looming over us, and blocking Weston...but that was all right cause I got a pic of him later. Chauntelle did her nice singing away from the mic. And Jonathan was just cool. It was lots of fun, and the crowd was really into it. After the show was over, I took a picture with Christie. I think she was scared. Haha. I then took a picture with Sherri, Stacy, Weston, and Jonathan. I talked to them for a bit about the horror that is the South Beach diet (we love carbs!) and other marvelous things. My friend and I then went in search of Chauntelle. We talked to her for quite a while and took pictures with her. The girls are so pretty, and the boys are amazingly tall. Good looking too! I then went to buy merch, but I wasn't sure if the lady selling the merchandise was Kim or not, since I had never seen a picture of her before. So sadly, I didn't get to talk to her. Her mother was there as well. And so was Collin. I saw Boyd numerous times, but he looked important and busy, so I didn't want to disturb him. I also finally got to see Kayla. She is the cutest little girl in the world! To sum it all up, it was a grand night indeed. I had so much fun and we were so completely overjoyed. It was so much more than I could have ever hoped for. When I am old enough to drive to another state w/o the parental units, then I shall take a road trip to Tyler, Texas and visit with them. They really are the coolest kids around. _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.'
