occasionally for me! i get soooo annoyed by that cane!!! darn it! can't you get him a bigger one...the turtle looks like he's about to fall over and die! you meanie!

the reality is most cultures have "nicknames" people call them by and like most things it's how the word is used and in what context it's used that makes it offensive or not.I have an Japanese friend who calls other asians "slopeheads"...He isn't racist,in fact quite the opposite,he's quite the patriot to his homeland of Japan but he is easy going and likes to joke around,I don't get offended when people call me stereotypical aussie names (of which some of you call me on here) so where do you draw the line? I think some people like being all PC when it suits them and don't use the same rules across the board I dont know what you posted granpaturtle but I doubt very much it was said in an offensive way _________________
