I really love Lost at Sea (more or less) the way it is. I just can't picture it any other way. Golly Sandra, They All Surrounded Me, and Lady of the Wood have been running through my head constantly, as well as the "I'm always wondering" part of Memories. I know, it's not just catchiness...but honestly, I love all the songs so much that I really can't distinguish one as better than another. I can only tell which ones stick in my head more. _________________ Just to lay with you, there's nothing that I wouldn't do (save lay my rifle down). |

One thing I've noticed is that Eisley transcends genre. People who like heavy metal all the way to people who are into folk music can find something to latch on to. The songs are brimming with energy, beauty and are heartfelt. The lyrics are magical (not in that fairy and unicorn way) and it creates this amazing aura. I get all emotional listening to every song. I have every confidence that, if given the chance, Eisley will firmly root themselves in the heart of millions. They just have to win the heards of The Money first. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

i loved the Lost At Sea that was played at Brewtones. i think Plenty of Paper is an amazing song. and Vintage People.and the Escaping song! they all have such catchy melodies! they all have that stuck-in-your-head potential. they all seem "radio" to me. or maybe it's my own shanebrain-radio? i think that you could put any of the new songs on the radio, and it would do great. i forgot Golly Sandra! thats such a great song. i sing it all the time, haha. |

(he used Britney Spears - Oops I Did It Again as an example) Those are some funny, yet intelligent ideas. Hilarious! Good, great, Grand! A song that is catchy, easy enough lyrics, that people can relate to... I Wasn't Prepared comes to mind. As I haven't heard much of the new material, I am casting my opinion without respect to them. I like Golly Sandra and Sun Feet, but can't make out much of the lyrics. They're catchy. Lost At Sea is easy, relatable, though not up tempo. I've had Lady of the Wood stuck in my head. It makes me think of the movie "The Ring" I can't imagine Lost At Sea being the radio song. Lost At Sea is the most eerie, mesmerizing song I've ever heard. Too much tinkering may demolish the feel of the song. I say put it back to its original state and put it on the CD. I personally feel that "I Wasn't Prepared" would have great potential to be "radio friendly" and still present what Eisley sounds like overall. It would be a great introductory song to the vast audience that has never heard of the band. And on another note, even though I will probably still love it, I am kind of sad to hear that "Lost At Sea" has drums (beat) now. To me that was one of the things that made that song so special and even unique to other Eisley songs. In the first recording it had a very beautiful yet eerie silence to it, a quiteness that drew you in and made you feel pain and joy all at once, it is one of my favorite Eisley songs and I hope that the final version will sounds as the band pleases.
