Well actually our system of government is based on a division of power that resides first with the several states. And their power is derived from the people. So it makes sense that one candidate could gain the popular vote and lose the state votes. Kennedy won but Nixon got the popular vote. But in order to change it, you have to be a part of the process, or a wrench in the works. In other words you have to involved (good or bad) to change things. I would encourage you to think about joining a political party or a revolutionary movement. But don't just sit on the sideline. There's one thing you can count on though. The rich are greedy. So they will invest in money making ideas which in most cases means job creation. And more jobs mean more lower class people spending more money. Trickle down economics is a long term fix. Whether those who get tax cuts invest their money or spend it, it helps the economy in the long run. Even if the money is put into the bank, the banking system is helped out. Do you not think that those who pay more into the tax funds should get more back?? Why has this thread turned into another political debate??? The point of this thread is that voting is rad and we should all do it(if you're old enough)!! I might disagree with who some of you plan on voting for, but the fact that you're involved and informed enough to go out and try and make a difference makes me respect each one of you SO MUCH. So can we save the debate for one of the many other threads and just use this one to be POSITIVE and remind everyone who can to get out there and VOTE!!! Also, for those of you who think you don't care about it right now... a lot happens in 4 years and I'd hate to see any of you regretting not voting 2-3 years down the road.
