Eisley Bumper Sticker Comment Update: Today I brought my beloved Alvarez into the local music store for a truss rod adjustment. The (tall, attractive, curly-haired) sales associate spotted my Eisley bumper sticker and said, "Isn't that the girl band from Texas?" "Well, three-fifths of them are girls," I intelligently replied. (Could I not possibly think of anything wittier?!) "Right, right, three-fifths," replied (tall, attractive, curly-haired) sales associate. "I've seen a couple of their videos. I really like their stuff." "Yeah, they're great," sez I. (Or at least I think I murmered something along those lines. Can't really remember, and it was quite unintelligible anyway. I have a cold. Or at least that's what I tell myself to make myself feel better.) Then he fixed the truss rod. My guitar sounds lovely again. eisley has bumper stickers?! guitar fixers are attractive? why, this is so UNPRECEDENTED! i need to go to a guitar shop now. _________________ If the end of the world has proper noodles I'll probably be okay with it. |
