On the LA Weekly site, I was looking up promotions information for my job, and I noticed that in a blurb written about "The Like," they are compared to Eisley: "But the Like have songs à go-go: deceptively simple yet emotive offerings somewhere between the Cardigans and PJ Harvey, with a uniquely feminine, gentle teen angst and deliberate delivery recalling Texas phenoms Eisley." Interesting, in light of the fact that Eisley's album isn't even out yet, and they're already hitting LA as a basis of comparison! Go Eisley! _________________ i've never been good at coming up with signatures... |
