My teacher, last week, told me to bring in my five favourite CDs of right now, and one was Eisley... and he LOVED Eisley, I think it was his favourite... he got really into it, he was totally impressed, didn't want to stop listening to it. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me!

You knew how to pick a New Hampshire music teacher...That's cool. How old is he/she? _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Same here... I take Eisley to my bass lesson as well. Whether we're getting it right or not, I'm just having fun playing along. What songs are you playing? p.s. My teacher's a hippy. I have yet to see him without sunglasses and he's worn three different ty-dyed shirts since I started. His favorite music is CCR, Pink Floyd, and surprisingly Big Wreck (likes the guitar solos). _________________ ![]()

And CanadianAlias: I'm still learning, beginning and stuff... he had me bring in the cds so he could see what kind of music I'm into for when I do start to play songs... I so far only know: All the open strings, 2nd and 3rd fret(B, C) on the A string, the 3rd and 4th fret on D (E, F) and the 2nd fret on G (A) So... I somewhat know a musical alphabet, A,B,C,D,E,F,G,A, mhmm _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me!

hey this is so cool.. i'm also in the process of learning bass guitar, and taking lessons. my instructor has me doing scales, messing around with triads, and learning the location of notes by doing circle of 4ths, circle of 5ths. i've recently started looking up bass tabs for radiohead songs. i think i should start trying to pick up basslines by ear though. wow, theres a newbie bassplayer eisleyfan community lol. _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |
