It's a shame....there are no TowHead shirts. But here's a few relics. Spring of '98. First band photo. It's funny isn't it. Gives a vivid sense of history. It freaks even me out to see this. I know the band gets a lot of: "oh, must be nice... getting signed... being so young... man... we've been paying our dues down here, beating it out in clubs and playing at crappy venues for years... and you guys just come out of nowhere and get all these cool opportunities...all this great stuff is happening; wow...must be nice... ", etc. Nope, it's called 5 years in the trenches...paying their dues...playing hundreds of shows...not giving up through all kinds of hardships. Nothing is that easy. Stacy at 9. (live show at BrewTones) They were playing all original material... except for that one cover song by the cranberry's for about 3 shows. My oh my oh my....wow...what an incredible image.... when they took that photo, did they ever imagine the things that would come to be?? Who is that other person in the photo? Bass player? what happened to that person? bet they wish they would've stuck around! Thanks for sharing, Boyd |
