that's the only way i could possibly vote, sorry. i think the marvy things ep sounds better-produced, and i think re-releasing tracks off that would be redundant to me, already being a fan. i can't really honestly look at it any other way as a current fan. i don't really think anyone else can either. i think this is something best left to the pros (management) who have a better ear for how the public will gauge a debut album.

I think the reason "Vintage People" is not getting so many votes, is because not many people have heard it. Or atleast not enough.

Which is a good thing, right? Cause we're voting one off the island.
This is "Survivor: Eisley Debut" here.

Hey, just because a song is getting voted off the island doesn't mean it won't come back in a future episode. Wink

Thinking managemently here, I believe that there should be at least two songs from each EP on the full album, then the rest new. If the full CD has only the songs from the EPs except maybe one or two new ones, then sales will suffer because hey, people already got the songs the first time around with the EPs. Conversely, if the full CD doesn't have any songs from the EPs then people may not purchase because of lack of familiarity. Now, if the full CD does contain songs from the EPs, then I think it would be great to remaster or have an "albumn" version of some of them to make them a little different as long as it's not being different just for the sake of being different.

I think "Marvelous Things" and "I Wasn't Prepared.." are two of Eisley's BEST songs.. LET THE WORLD HEAR THEM.

When the world hears the new full-length CD, and loves Eisely and needs more , they will go and buy the 2 EP's already out.....which means more record sales! That's why you should NOT have more than 1 or 2 songs from the EP's on the full-length CD.
"I Wasn't Prepared" is very nearly perfect in it's EP form, and should definately be left off of the full-length. It will be a gem for new fans to discover by buying the old EP's.

i don't see anything wrong with putting the three songs from the EP's on the album. they need to present their best possible face on the LP> and those three songs are some of their best.

or you could take a page from the coldplay book: they put two previously-ep-released tracks (don't panic & high speed) on their debut (not counting promotional single releases of shiver and yellow).

Hmmm, and I was sitting here thinking how wonderful it would be to have I wasn't Prepared be the radio hit. I do not think it should be left off- I think people would hear it on the radio and freeze and hit trees if they are driving and walk into poles if they are walking....
