I think it would be brilliant if Eisley came down for a show in Houston sometime soon. I've talked to a lot of people who recognized them from the Coldplay show and expressed interest in checking them out more(including the guys who work at the Wherehouse Music near 59 and Shepherd). From what I heard, the last time they played here wasn't well-attended, but I'm sure it'd be better this time (especially if those of us who live in Houston helped promote it well). A great place for a band like them to play would be The Rhythm Room, except that it's only 18 and up. I heard that promoter's can get The Rhythm Room for about $250 a night (and paying the difference if the bar doesn't ring up $150), and you can also get Fat Cat's for about $200 (and that's all ages, fully staffed, with no worrying about the bar). As much as I hate Fat Cat's because of all of the Hands Up shows, it's a really good deal. Hint, hint local promoters. Anyway, I think it would be cool to see Eisley in Houston. We miss you Eisley. |

cuz yall never come to houston boyd! haha. But we did bring a "cool" crowd to dallas. Even my mom came!!!! She came up to me the day before and said, "Lori, can i go too?" I was like "Of course MOM!" So she brought one her friends and they sat in the balcony (they didn't much like them sticks of jimmi though). Mom says that Eisley takes on where John Lennon left off (and mom knows her stuff too...she was in the middle of the rocknroll and movie star scene back in the day...when she was my age she was living next door to the monkeys in hollywood). I've given out at least 10 copies of the EP to friends all over. (Hawaii, Washington, England, Houston) We just can't seem to get enough of your kids. Did you see the pic i drew of sherri? _________________ The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, Is fit for treasons, strategems, and spoils. -Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=friedpie |
