why we shouldn't be told what songs are gonna make the album?> as long as they are given to us in random order or whatever, there will still be the excitement of not knowing what song comes next when first listening to the album, while there wouldn't be the anxiety of wanting a certain song to come up and waiting for it only to find at the end of the cd it's not there. of course i wouldn't let this happen so if i didn't already know what songs were on the album i'd have to see the tracklisting first before hearing it the first time, but then i'd know what song comes next... which is precisely why they should be given to us in random order now!! i am a master argumentator! _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |

No! Don't tell us about any of the songs on the album. If you do, we'll be like, "oh cool! I love that song. I wish they would've put so&so on it though.." and then when the cd comes out, we'll be in line at best buy, looking at the back of the case, "yup... those are the songs they told us.." I want to have the cd in my hands and be like, "Oh heck yes! I knew they'd throw that one in." _________________ "Aren't we all hanging from a fragile vine awaiting an inevitable plunge to doom while mice gnaw at our temporary safety? I think the band will have a good reason for not sharing if they don't share. It's completely up to them. I think Boyd has told us more about this whole deal than any other band has ever told. We almost have every detail of the recording process. Maybe they just want to keep a few things a surprise. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me!

The track list is going to get out sometime before the album release, one way or another; once it goes up on the Amazon website they usually have a track list. The only way not to find out about the track list would be to purposefully not look up the album before its release. I've never purchased a cd that I didn't know the track list beforehand, other then bands that I have not heard of. Unless Eisley wants to keep this a big secret, I don't see why they wouldn't release the track list in the near future. I'll buy the Japanese edition of the cd because they almost always have extra tracks. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/whisperingtrees |
