If our newspapers weren't past plastering their pages with photographs of an underage Charlotte Church (wearing stap-top/ bikini etc.) just imagine what they'll do to Sherri, Stacy and Chauntelle. And think about how many fake porn site their are. I've received advertisement for red-hot Britney sex and I'm pretty sure she's never done any porn shoots and Sherri, Stacy and Chauntelle are much prettier than Britney.
Not a nice thing to post but it does worry me - I can already imagine the headlines.

That seems to be the risk you take as a celebrity... that doesn't make it right.

I think Eisley's success will be slightly more modest than Britney's.

I am not worried about this type of thing, I think that they
are very capable of handling themselves amongst the wolves.
Most pop stars are asking to be portrayed as sex objects, but
Eisley does not nor will not be seen in this light.

That's exactly right. That is what is so nice about the Eisley girls - they aren't trying to be viewed in any sexual way.

Inevitably, the selfish masses will degrade anyone and anything in order to make a buck or satisfy a different, darker greed. I'll be saddened but not surprised.

What saddens me more though is the self-degradation of many artists in order to sell more records. I remember hearing Jessica Simpson speaking about how she didn't want to show too much skin, and dress "wholesome" at all times. She even went into details about trying not to show too much cleavage or belly etc.. I don't really think the spread she later did for Maxim really qualifies under her earlier definition of what was acceptable clothing. And she is just one, in countless, of examples.

The hope I have in the Eisley girls, is that from all accounts I've seen here, they possess the strength to follow through with their moral convictions and not throw them out for the sake of some extra cash.

I think Mandy Moore has done a really good job at staying true to herself. Of course being a huge popstar it is hard to avoid some skin, but I think Mandy Moore is a good example of someone handling themselves in a respectable manner.

I also hate to use this comparison... but Hilary Duff is also a good model of one to keep a modest style. Of course she is 16 or 18 (or however old she is) and a Disney character, but even outside of Disney.

And though I wish Eisley all the success in the world, I am doubting they will actually reach the point of Britney or Christina or Jessica, anyways. I picture them a sort of Modest Mouse kind of fame where they get big, but not TOO big that they are stalked on the streets. I can never picture Eisley dancing around a stage to planned out dance moves with background dancers and a huge 2 million dollar set.

You are very correct about Mandy Moore... I think that is why I find her so attractive. I don't know when girls are going to pick up on the modesty trend. I guess they will when we guys stop wanting them to dress like hookers. I hope that nothing in that sounded creepy...

My mom read me this article in the news paper about how covering up is the new style, and showing skin is out of style.

It leaves a little imagination. I used to like Lindsay(?) Lohan until she went skanky... that was sad... I know...

i don't know, it's kind of different with a band and a singular pop star. First of all the fame is split amongst the band members (even more so with Eisley, i get the feeling you guys will refuse to let the media focus on any one member) plus bands (unless revolutionary) do not reach the immense success level of Britaney and Jessica. Now i know Eisley is good stuff, but its not gonna revolutionize radio or anything, this isn't the next Nevermind...i think...

i know we've yacked about this before...but, you'd have to know these
eisley girls. not a chance of them getting flashy... not skin. Wanna see
attitude? They'd walk off the set rather than do all that crap. It's more
than just a moral conviction...it's sell out. The minute you start to take
the clothes off to sell yourself, it's the beginning of the end. sorry, it's no
longer about the music. Can't stop wacko's from crafting their fakery,
but... not a chance on the other.

there lies the problem though...the media and web nerds who like to print that crap will see that as a challenge to find dirt on them or make up rumours. It's probably a bit naive of any of us to think that these people won't take notice of 3 attractive sisters in one band.

sad but true
