I'm heading over to the WB for a meeting with New Media today at 2:00 and want to get feedback from you guys... in short paragraphs, outline what your expectations are for the new site. What basic features, functionality, nav, coolness do you want? You know...for the kids.:-} Keep in mind, no compromise on identity. Quickly now. snap.snap. I have to have the band at the studio at 1:30. bd ps. i know the other sucks...so no need to make tons of comparisons. start with a clean slate. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I'd like to see the site become less flash based and maybe database driven. You have amassed an incredible amount of photos and videos from the band, it would be nice to see those in some central, easily navigated location. The flash website is nice, but it does take a while to load now and I'm on a cable connection. I would like to see the site use most of the browser window instead of a small unchangeable popup. You have always had so much content on the website and that shouldn't change, more is better in this case. Hope some of that helps, I'm sure some people will have a different opinion. |

Song Clips Video Clips Full Length Videos in Quicktime Photos Redesigned Merchandise section - with secure online credit card payment Contests - Win shirts, posters, CDs, etc. Archive of old Eisley photos, video clips, songs, etc. Another thing I was thinking of was an Eisley "confessional" - similar to the Real World thing - where the members of Eisley videotape their thoughts and feelings on whatever topic they want. It could like a daily or weekly segment that would keep people coming back to the site frequently. What do you think? |

A motivational sound pack where Eisley builds up your confidence. "Come you, you can do it" etc. all set to the music of Eisley. Seriously though, we do need a news page. _________________ "A little less love, a little more common decency." - Kurt Vonnegut |

I want hidden links on every page, i.e. links that are the color of the background, to ultra cool stuff. You should have a media player that plays cool songs, kinda like the one on the Coldplay site. The Muse site is pretty cool, with the way they use flash, it's not slow, maybe you could try something like that at Muse.mu _________________ http://www.myspace.com/whisperingtrees |
