Posted: Tue Aug 26, 2003 2:35 pm I'm just saying because I think it's pretty embarrassing for them (the newbies...and yes, Eisley too). I mean, I think Sherri is very very attractive (her looks and her talent) but I was never asking about her when I joined this board. I'm wondering what Kim or Boyd thinks about it. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

I found stacy to be very preety. So I made a thread about it. I wasnt hurting anyone. I just hope they found it flattering then creepy. And I never remeber hearing a celeb dating a fan. So I know I shouldnt waste my life away thinking I have a shot with her. In a matter of fact I don't think I have a shot with any girl I like. And Even If I did have a chance with stacy this comes to mind. I will finish the weezer quote in dylans_vagabond's sig I don't care what they say about us anyway I don't care about that. I truely am as corny as I sound. _________________

The mom speaks! People admiring our daughters is not something that started with the band. Some people get here on this earth with just an extra helping of nice qualities. It is nothing that they had any control over. I think my daughters, (and my sons), are cute, but doesn't every mom? No worries everyone...we don't get creeped out by any of this. HOWEVER!...their are boundaries to all of this Say, you were to try and touch one of my daughters at a show, and you really didn't have the personal relationship to do so?....You might get karate chopped. |

Obviously, people should respect the girls (and guys, too) when they post, but I don't think the aforementioned question about Stacy wasn't all that bad. It walked a thin line, but it was offset with a disclaimer of sort. It's natural to be attracted to people. Especially very talented, smart and attractive ones. As long as the expectations are realistic (not irrationally positive or negative), and the expression is handled respectfully, a "celebrity crush" or whatever is rather harmless. Things like that help us form our hopes for relationships and can give us a better idea of what we are truly interested in (methinks). That said, I hope the girls are taking it as flattery and aren't getting creeped out. Guys can do stupid things when attraction is involved. Hopefully the members of this board can refrain from anything truly disrespectful, and/or creepy. We need to remember the members of this forum are people with dreams and feelings, too. -Jamie (Hopefully this isn't repeating someone else's post I haven't read. It's taken me 20 minutes to write this beacuse I'm doing a million things right now.) _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I've chatted poorly with them; they're tangable. well apparently as well as not singing, they dont talk speaking of which, having not seen eisley until last week, i did notice that chauntelle knew and sang the words to every song yet stood far enough away so that we couldnt here, shame, take a few steps forward _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |
