Whatever you do don't go to Palestine...in fact...you should probably just stay away from East Texas. Just stay in Dallas or go to Austin. San Antonio is also super fun and the riverwalk is really pretty during Christmas.

I'm re-invigorating this post because I tossed a poster on line.
If anyone wants to spread the word, that would be sweet and
kind and above board. If not, it's ok. I posted a blurb too. bd
I mean, the poster is on the initial post on this thread. thanks. _________________ EisleyWebGuy

well, i'd print it out, but posting it around d.c. probably won't help too much - the only ones crazy enough to go are those of us already going!

will show because the ticket price is 2 dollars more than last year. Here's
the link to the big one. Anyway. Thanks. Now back to Kim's original post.

I think I might go! Deep Ellum can be a scary place on regular weeknights...i can't imagine New Years Eve..
Only one problem, none of my friends really listen to this kind of music..so i'll have to figure out something.

If you are talking about the New Year's Show, you can get in with your parents even if you are not 17.
Does that help?

I'm 17, turning 18 in a few weeks [January 16] but the Trees site says they ask for a valid drivers license and well, I don't drive. How am I going to be able to get in? This really sucks, my friend and I are dying to go. Why isn't it an all ages show?
