Pick up a CS Lewis books, and randomly point to a phrase.

Here. I'll do it.

-Turkish Delight.

-Dark Magic

...ahh I can't find anything else.
I stink.

I liked that Emerging Tour idea the best.

The Turkish Delight Tour.

I like it. It's so totally random, but Eisleyish.

For the tour how about: "Winter Westernland Tour" kind of like winter wonderland

for the merch, how about: "Where the Lovely Things Are" ripped from everybody's favorite Maurice Sendak book.

Oh, and from looking at the pic of the album it looks like the tray of the cd case will be clear so you can see artwork below it. Is that true? I love when you can see the artwork instead of just the grey tray.

I would still like something with the "gold" theme as well....

Gold Rush '05

Manifest Destiny

...something along those lines

i'm jumping in late... probably no help.

i like the idea of connecting texas and the west coast.
so first i started thinking about how to connect the two,
but then i thought of what connects the two...

Interstate 10

it seems like a cool idea to me to use interstate 10 somehow.
and it seems to have a sentimental feel too since eisley has spent so much time driving on that road back and forth from home to la and vice versa.
i realize it could be a little narrow since many of the stops won't be on said highway, but if you went with something like the "off west Interstate 10" tour i think it would work because it implies you are finally done recording and can get away from that road but also that you are touring in the general vicinity of the texas-california section of the highway. i don't know if it works, but it seems cool to me.

oh yeah...

and as far as the merch insert is concerned:
since its gonna be in the album, why not something like "room surprises" or something along the room/closet/toy chest theme...

"buried in the armoire"
"closet noises"
"closet surprises"

lovealways, kyle

I kind of like the room theme idea

Maybe the design for the website can have an interactive pic of the room and you go to different places in the room to get to different sections in the site. Maybe a bulletin board for news, the computer for the message board, the closet for merchandise, the stereo to hear music, a glowing lightbulb for E-merge, under the bed for special stuff.

That would be wicked awesome.

I would suggest using an actual photo, though, and not computer-generated stuff. It would be computer enhanced, of course, with rollovers and whatnot that would make stuff glow and show descriptions.

It's probably way too late for website revisions, though. *sigh* Oh well.

That'd be cool if Boyd could have actual photos off all of the 5 members of Eisley for the menu and it would randomly rotate. Maybe a bit confusing and personal, but it would be cool to see Weston's awesome stereo we hear so much about.

As far as it being too late for the website design. It might not be, I thought Boyd was just saying that he needed to work on it still.

salleys - that IS a wicked awesome idea.
i don't know how much time I have really
to invest... WB wants me to get to crackin'
and get a new, clean, very-eisley, easy-
to-nav' site up super fast. We're going to
start getting tons of hits when e-blasts
go out from bands like New Found Glory
and others... but, after I get something
up initially, I might rework it. This site
should be more dynamic...not so inflexible...
It should change more. Keep people
interested, engaged, informed.

Anyway...off to work on this tour poster.
You know, in the end, I guess I don't really
have to have a name. Other rock posters
don't. Some do... whatever. I just have
to crank it out.

Thanks SO much for the creative input.
It was theraputic...a great resource....you
guys have amazing ideas. If it's ok, I'm
sure I'll be taping your skulls often. It just
makes sense.

thanks. bd

On second thought, I think maybe it could be an "Eisley world" type room that is computer generated, but then real life pictures of stuff would be what you click on. And when you put your mouse pointer on it, it would glow oh so luminescently bright. I think it would be really cool anyway.
