I love this song, the intro is a little bit to country I feel, but once it gets going...I can't stop listening...the tempo is lovely and what I think is Stacy's voice is great _________________ MY SPACE |

i was definitely one of the people most vocal about this making the record. i'm so glad it did. it's just so...glad. it's not gonna grab people and make them be like "wow thats so meaningful to me, wow." but it's a good song, and iiiii like it. wor.d _________________ knives don't have your back. |

I FRIKKIN LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!! Tis my favorite Eisley song by far. Even more than The Winter Song (officially one of my songs of 2003! ). I love it. The melody is wonderful, the bouncy beat underneath, the added country guitars do inideed have a country feel but dude they're from Texas! It adds authenticity and really just adds more harmonics to the whole thing I think. More sensitivities within the music. I love this song for different reasons. I love what it says lyrically. Just double checking yourself. "Have I been too denying of you? Too untrusting?" But Oh My God the pre-chorus on that song is pure elegance! Magic the way it stirs the senses. I love love love Sherri's harmonies to Stacy's Melody on that part. Love love it. I have my own harmonies to GS cuz I've listened to the live version for Slim's way too many times. I love this song. _________________ Its all in the making. Its all yet to be. Its all leading up to your true destiny. |

But that's not the word I'm hearing. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Boyd has definitely said that IWP is the first single at some point... as far as Golly Sandra's chances of being the second single, my impression is that the label and whoever is in charge don't think Golly Sandra has the lyrics to appeal to a larger audience, despite its very catchy tune. I just hope TE isn't the second single.. perhaps it will be My Lovely? Although at the time it was written the label didn't think it would work as a single. Oh darn why can't eisley just re-write Pieces of Me with dual vocals or something! _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |
