Well, my mom just ordered me the 5 tickets for the show on the 26th of March at Webster Hall as my little thing for my Sweet Sixteen. However, her receipt says that it's ages 16+ only. I'll be sixteen by then, cause my birthday is the 24th, and so will one of my friends. But three of them will still only be 15. I was wondering if they strictly enforce this age thing and if they check for ID or anything, because I've only been to all ages shows before. Help if you can. [EDIT] My mom called the WH box office in distress, and they said that if a parent accompanies them, they'll be allowed to get in. By now I could really care less whether it has to be a legal guardian, I'm just hoping that by some act of God I will get into this show. The lady at the office better not have misspoke, or I will hunt her down and eat her. That is all. _________________ Please take me out of my body up through the palm trees, to smell California in sweet hypocrisy. Floating, my senses surround my body. end MORAINE wrote: I doubt they'll check ID's, but if they do Just say they're sixteen, but they haven't gotten their driver's license yet. They're taking driver's ed second semester. Thanks very much. That's what I was thinking, considering by the time I'm sixteen I won't have my permit or anything for the show either. _________________ Please take me out of my body up through the palm trees, to smell California in sweet hypocrisy. They even made a statement saying they wouldn't do that because they'd lose a lot of their fans that way. _________________ Please take me out of my body up through the palm trees, to smell California in sweet hypocrisy. Ugh. I just called the ticket distributor or something and this woman told me that yeah you have to be sixteen and prove it or something. But, I don't know, maybe she doesn't know for sure. God I pray it's not the absolute word. _________________ Please take me out of my body up through the palm trees, to smell California in sweet hypocrisy. Floating, my senses surround my body. All of the other shows are all ages. _________________ Please take me out of my body up through the palm trees, to smell California in sweet hypocrisy. Floating, my senses surround my body. You should call the venue and ask how a 16 is supposed to prove they are 16 if they don't have a license, then also ask if a 15 would be allowed in (maybe with a parent?). You could also try to make a fake student ID from your school and put fake birthdays on there, that's much easier to fake than a driver's license. |
