Mick, I have to say that your description of the affect of Eisley's music, is one of the best I have read. Being 4/5ths of the band's mom, I have always felt the things you described, listening to their music. I think it is why our whole family makes the sacrifices we do in order to see Eisley's music reach the world. Many times I am awestruck by the beauty they create. Thanks so much for the glowing review. I will cherish it when some of the not so favorful ones come in, as I know there will be both |

That song is soooo beautiful. Man, I want to hear the CD...CRRRYYYYYY _________________ Life is funny, but not ha ha funny - Eels |

kimbrtones- Thanks for having great kids and for making sacrifices. I love your quote at the bottom. I have seen many friends and families who have never risked to chase a dream-even with the door wide open in front of them. I hope you and your family will let every moment linger in your souls as you launch out with this new CD. What fun! I just have to go on a little more about the new disc. It's still in my CD player and I love the re-mix of "Lost at Sea". Whoever produced it did so in the Phil Spector "wall of sound" tradition. Very innovative retro type of mixing. I could certainly imagine that re-mix playing at the end of a major movie as the credits roll-what a perfect way to end the story-and the CD. _________________ ... the greatest of these is love. |
