EVERYONE needs to come to this show.

We can listen to eisley together and sway like musical branches.
We all know Eisley is for friends!

I'm glad this thread is going, because I was going to say something about it. The Dallas Observer is also saying that Eisley is doing this show on the 18th - Boyd?, want to step in here and confirm this for the masses (and give details, ie- ages welcome, opening acts, when tix are up for sale and for how much). I will plan on being there...yay!

elsewhere in the paragraph the Observer dedicated to this announcement, they said, "Not surprisingly, the cd is packed with moments of chilling beauty and a sound that is similar but more elegant, even playful."

well put...

P.

i'm fairly certain that the elected will not be playing that show as i heard they are stopping the tour at a certain date so that blake can go rehearse with rilo kiley for their european tour or something.

Thanks... I wish I had gone to Dallas to see Rilo Kiley and The Elected last time... Anyhow, this concert will be manageable - none of the other Texas dates seem to be...

You're not able to head to the Houston or Dallas dates with Eisley? Those are a lot closer to College Station.

The Elected are also performing in Denton sans Eisley on Jan. 28th if you want to try that out.

As it stands, the shows in Houston and Austin are not possible... The Denton show would be on a Friday, which is a possibility... I might have to check into that... I had no idea... Thanks...

It's only six hours and forty-six minutes from my house to the Gypsy Tea Room... I could so totally do this. Oooooooh... *wrings hands*

I need to know more about the place, though. Bad part of town? Hotels/motels nearby? Anybody local got a house where I can crash? Wink

It can be bad, but just stay in a group. It's honestly not much. Unless it's 2 a.m. on New Year's Day ... Chad can tell you about places to stay.
