Me n gRegor n Thomas were all on line working on various components
of the new forum/ new website - from audio streaming, file compression,
php pic/journal uploading, importing flash buttons into the html, getting
the front blog ready, updating tour info...code, code, code...etc. etc. etc. -
when gRegor said, "Hey, do you think there's a revolt on the forum?
Didn't you tell them FRIDAY?!!" That's when i said, "wups"... and came
over here.

I did lace my claims of a Friday launch with DIS-claimers. We're still
working. Now here's where I get into trouble... crying wuf is bad: We're
attempting to have it up by Monday morning! - unless something happens
or my arms fall off.

I'll go journal the last few days now and then get back to work. This was
ONLY an announcement - posted, as usual, in the wrong place. In the
future kingdom, things will be more orderly and better. (more better)

Thankyou and have a nice, nice, nice, weekend. I WILL keep you informed.

boyd

im hesitant to leave this forum. its the only Eisley Forum i have known, except for the Temp forums, and those cause shock and damage. so yeah, anytime you get the new Forum up is okay with me.

What I want to know is if profile info and post counts will be transferred over to the new forum intact.

If not, sorry Paul... Laughing

All the content will get moved over. It'd be silly if it didn't.

Boyd's just not slept in 1 1/2 months, leave him alone Wink

The only change to the forum will be a fancy new look and some backend stuff. The eisley.com site gon' get overHAULED, though.

No worries, 10,000+ post acheivers!

No no, the posts too. Every bit of data's getting moved over - users, threads, posts, even private messages. Nothing changes except some backend stuff and a great new look to the site.

I have found that if you delete all the posts you dont need, your inbox gets more room.
