Kim stopped by Hastings and dropped off a TON of merchandise!
Isn't she great?!?!
So if you come to the midnight release party- you're likely to get something!
I was trying to think of a fair way to hand out stuff, without playing favorites and only giving boardies stuff. Embarassed
So what do you think I should do?
Draw for them?
First come first served?
Put numbers in the corner of the barcodes on the CDs and each number matches a prize?
I think that 3rd one would be most fair... no?

That third idea does sounds the fairest... Too bad that East Texas is so far from College Station, which would be why I hardly ever drive home from here...

You will be greatly missed Jonathon David Wilson. Great bassist, great guy.

Have a drawing to see who gets to work for me instead of going to the release party. Razz

Hmmm.. I think Hastings may have some tickets put away somewhere. Maybe.
That sounds like a good idea.

...

Except that people don't all come in at the same time-
it is a store and people come in, buy the CD, and leave....
I don't know. I guess if they are interested in the merch then they would stay.

Advertise the drawings at the door, and make it a little after midnight, so people will stick around for it. Buy the album, wait a minute, have a drawing, then maybe go home with some goodies. That make any sense? Confused

is everyone going to get a prize? one idea is to have people write down their name on the back of their recipt with a phone number, and toss it into a giant coffee cup. or something. that way if they do win something they can be contacted if they are not there. but another catch to get the merchandise is that you had to buy the cd with in a time frame.. like from midnight till one or so.... scracth the time frame i don't think that will work to well. are you guys going to close the store for a short while then reopen it at midnight? cause if you do that then you could offer it on first come first serve, cause the store would have been cleared out and all... or you could have a eisley triva contest type thing during the purchasing of the cd's... dunno if any of those ideas will work but their ideas.

Wait! I remember what Mark was saying about the Rev Room. I endorse that method. Everyone gets a ticket coming in. Very good idea.
