I tried!!! My credit card was declined cuz damn AOL has slowly maxed it out thru last year. So sad! I was gonna buy the autographed one and never open it. Of course I just HAD to buy it in-store tho. I'm gonna buy a couple copies hopefully. One for me, one for my buddy's bday, one for my gf..... Yep. I'd do it if I had the cash on me. Totally. I hope there's still autographed copies available by the time I send in my credit card payment!!!! Cross your fingers for me?

i'm wondering if the autographs are actually on the copies of the CDs, or just another booklet seperate from the sealed CD?

i would think the CD's would be lower in price. i remember Boyd saying that he only had a 6(?) page (maybe meaning 3 pages folded, giving 6 pages in total) in order to keep the CD in the lower price range.

I pre-ordered from tower records, and i'll prolly buy an Itunes copy on release day. I want the Vinyl version of, "Room Noises."

yeah, i did and i regret it. I ordered it w/ the 2 EPs from amazon, just so i would have extra copies of the EPs, and they arent set to ship til a week after the CD comes out...that just pisses me off.

I preordered the autographed version, unaware that it didn't also come with buttons.

I will also buy in in the store on Tuesday, and hunt around for the vinyl as well. This is a pretty sorry town for vinyl, though. The only place with any selection is just up the street from my office, and they sell bootlegs and bongs, so I don't tend to patronize them often.

according to circuit city, the vinyl comes out feb. 22. that sucks, i wanted to get both the same day.

i sent Tower an e-mail asking why they haven't shipped it yet.
i'm afraid it won't make it from California to Texas in 5 shipping days.
their answer should be interesting..........
that is, if they answer at all.

i hope they don't blame it on my ordering of Broadcast's Work/Non-Work album along with it so as to save from paying shipping.

I pre-ordered Room Noises, and I too hope it comes on the actual release-day.

I've never pre-ordered a cd before, but this past fall I pre-ordered a video game.
As the release date of the game was getting closer I went back and double-checked the "state of shipping" and it didn't have it being shipped until like three weeks AFTER the game came out. Naturally I was annoyed and impatient because the whole point of pre-ordering was so I would get it early and not have to hunt through stores.
So I was irritated and decided to cancel and just go out and buy the game.

Little did I know that the date on my email was completely wrong and it came in the mail the next day. I ended up having to take my bought-copy back the store.
So I am assuming that if pre-ordering the cd is a similar experience, than the emailed date might not be all that accurate and you can probably expect the cd on it's release (or a day or two after if you live in some place far away).

But that's just a guess.
