I got mine at Hastings for $10.99, great deal. Bestbuy.com had the CD listed as $14.99 which is toooo much (well maybe not for Eisley) but, to those who bought it at Best Buy, how much did you end up paying? _________________ Myspace - www.myspace.com/principalskinner My band - http://www.myspace.com/anotherholiday |

I got mine at Cactus Records in Houston for about $10.99 (on sale). I think they had about 10 on the rack. _________________ Blaahg Mahspace Audioscrobbler

The Best Buy in Cape Girardeau, MO was the same. They only had 3 in stock and they weren't even on the racks. But, my friend at school told me that they've started playing "Marvelous Things" and "Telescope Eyes" regularly on the local alternative/indie radio station, and apparently the guys there have been promoting it heavily. By the way, my copy of the CD was $11.99. |

i checked Tower Records and they didn't have it, but i didn't ask. i checked Circuit City, they had 1 copy, but the sticker was covered by the price tag partly. i checked Best Buy and they had 3 copies and 1 Marvelous Things EP. so, i got the EP and 1 album. i'm gonna check Barnes & Noble and see what it's like there. i wonder what it's gonna be like to find the vinyl. |

I went to best buy when mewithoutyou's new cd came out, the guy said they had twelve in stock but they couldn't find any!! So in my pain I began walking around the store, and like a miracle, there was one just laying on the ground.... _________________ You are either born fun, or just boring -Oliver Stone |

It was marked 11.99 here too, but rang up 9.99. Not an uncommon thing for Best Buy during first week of release. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

I work at Best Buy in Austin, TX. Today I was stuck working as a cashier for the first time in months, instead of customer service like I normally work, so I couldn't implement my plan. At the customer service desk we have a portable boombox that we usually just listen to the radio on. I was going to play Room Noises and put up a sign saying "Now playing: Eisley-Room Noises. Released today and only $11.99" I'm going to do it when I work next on Thursday. We had our copies out for sale when I got in today. Only 1 person bought the CD at my register today, I was disappointed. But I did have a nice conversation with the one girl who did buy it. She said she couldn't wait to get out of high school today to come right over and buy it. She saw them last Monday at the Parish just like I did and loved it. |
