After waiting on amazon.co.uk for a VERY LONG time I went and bought it from someone else. Anyways, finally I got my own copy of the Room Noises! I'm quite sure that there is a lot of these threads so I decided that I also wanted my own. Haha. Well, to the point. I can't believe you guys are still re-making your old songs and putting on the cd... I'd rather have Lady of the Wood instead of the new Marvy, Memories and espeically Telescope Eyes (I wasn't prepared was ok though). At first I was actually a bit disappointed... but then I got to the end of the cd and "woot"... One day I slowly floated away is godlike. I had these nice feelings flowing from my head down the spinal cord spreading through all of my body. Awesome.. really awesome Now.. top of the my Eisley list is at the moment (in no particular order): - Golly Sandra - One day I slowly floated away - Lady of the Wood - Old Lost at Sea _________________ Still titled as the first swedish fan |

It's not really remakes except for the roughly 10,000 people who have heard those songs before. And when you're exposing the music to hundreds of millions, 10,000 is nothing. So those songs have really basically never been heard. That said, I think most of those were at the label's behest. At least each remake did the song a favor (save for maybe Telescope Eyes). The Room Noises songs that have been heard before are mostly far superior to their previous versions. Anyway, if Room Noises does well, they'll have much more ability to make the second album a truer vision of modern Eisley. Anyway, I'm glad you managed to find it. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I didn't get it at first... but.. it was really amusing when I understood what you meant. noo.. I mean.. a machine to produce Eisley music for me.. so I can listen to new eisley music all the time. I've been listening to "One day I slowly floated" away for an hour and I still get this "this is amazing" feeling! _________________ Still titled as the first swedish fan |
