 Post subject: Guess Who's Picking Up Her Copy of Room Noises Tomorow?Posted: Thu Feb 24, 2005 12:18 pm 
Hehe - Tomorrow is the Canadian release date of Room Noises, and I'm so excited. I've alredy called an HMV to make sure they're getting the cd in tomorrow and after school I'm zipping to the mall to pick one up. I can't wait! |

wow, is that why i couldn't find it in any music store?? how'd you know about the canadian release date? i asked some girl at (a canadian) hmv if they were getting copies in the future, and she told me no. grrr. i ended up getting it from amazon.ca because i thought it wasn't coming... meh, oh well. at least i've got it now

^^ You're lucky you ordered it already. I didn't end up getting mine today 
I phoned a few different stores yesterday until I found one that told me that they would be getting it. And I even asked them, "Are you going to have it IN your store tomorrow so that when I come there, I can buy it?" And the lady told me, "Yes." BUT I went there today and looked for it, to no avail. And when I asked the guy at the store he told me that they don't have a deal with the company that does their records or something, and that the only way I could get it from him is to place an order, and even then it would take 2 months for it to come in. I told him no thanks. I was really disappointed. But now I think I'm just going to order it online, which is what I should have done in the first place. (yikeroos - the only reason I know the Canadian release date is because when I went to an HMV a few weeks ago and asked if they had Room Noises, they told me it wouldn't be released in Canada until the 25th.) |

i'm sorry to hear they didn't have the cd. i guess i should actually be thanking that hmv girl after all. if you're still thinking about whether to order online, amazon.ca was pretty fast. i'd never previously ordered anything from amazon before... but i thought it came in really quick. i put the order in on monday night and it came in friday morning (i.e. this morning). so it only took 4 days...plus i had other things in the same order. anyway good luck getting the cd!! i know you must be really eager to get your hands on it. i know i was. |
