.....it depends like...when you fall asleep, can you be woken up easily, or does it take a really loud noise or something to wake you?

I think I'm a medium sleeper. I won't wake right away at the slightest noise but I'll definitely wake up if someone says my name. Last night I was sleeping and having a wonderful dream and at around 2 my cell phone rang. I think I woke up and heard it because it's so loud though. And then after it rang I couldn't go back to sleep for a long time. I finally did though.

i am a heavy sleeper, but it takes me like 2 hours to fall asleep. so i only get like four hours of sleep on average. ick.

on the topic of where your bed is placed, mine always has to be in a corner. i slept in a bed that was in the middle of the room and flipped out. i felt like i was surrounded, and i had no wall to protect me.

If I don't have the white noise of a fan or air filter I wake more easily. I'm the type of sleeper that wakes to noises that don't belong. I also have lots of lucid dreams and recurring nightmares, especially if I sleep on my back. Something to do with acid reflux I think.

I'm quite a heavy sleeper. I'm one of those people who sleeps through fire alarms, morning calls... I even slept through the SAT unfortunately. It takes me a long time to actually fall asleep though, so I've somewhat convinced myself that I somehow skip the first couple of stages of sleep & just skip to the deep sleep part.

I chose the last option because I'm freakishly good at sleep deprivation.. I went 106 hours last week with only 18 hours of sleep spread through.

When I do sleep though, it's extremely deep. As in, my roommate thought she might need to get medical help for me once because I was responding to absolutely nothing. Hahaha. Fun.

§ sometimes heavy, sometimes light, and sometimes inbetween… my sleep is often plagued by nightmarish dreams (just check my xanga site for some examples: lobster pirate's log) … sometimes i move in my sleep (which can wake me), sometimes i talk in my sleep (which can wake me), and sometimes i sleep with my eyes open (which feels kinda creepy Shocked ) Twisted Evil … §
