Someday, I hope we have real versions of those. Until then, the live ones I think sound pretty danged good! I wish there was a better live version of silver bugs though! The chorus gets a bit muffled. Lady of the Wood, They All Surrounded Me, and The Escaping Song are my three favourite. Sunfeet is close behind them though. |

since my site is down right now, i copy and pasted what was on there. their unofficial, so basically, it's what i think stacy is singing... Lady of the Wood (unofficial lyrics) I wouldn't care 'cause machines are for the birds Oh, I wouldn't care 'cause machines are for the birds Every night, we watch the same surprise and he ripped his wing off of his arm and he stepped through the blooming door Scarecrows were walking, we threw the rose toward him Have you seen the missing lady of this wood? Oh no, sir, it's oh so sad She was taken away, taken away Moonlight was making her skin glow like the fireflies you've taken from the tiny scarecrows in a hurry they said, "So, you'll need these on your journey" He came upon a wishing well Kneeling forward and he fell Softly floating down on wings of fireflies And he saw her lying there Tangles in her hair, in her hair Oh, her pretty broken wrist was clutched under her face Her ankles were all wound I got her silver gown Oh... |

I think the lyrics are a little different in a few spots... I agree with everything except... niftylikenifer wrote: they said, "So, you'll need these on your journey" I'm pretty sure this is actually... "You said, 'Sir, you'll need these on your journey." niftylikenifer wrote: was clutched under her face I always thought it was "clutched under her fist." niftylikenifer wrote: Her ankles were all wound I got her silver gown I'm fairly certain this one is actually "Her ankles were all wound about her silver gown." That's all I would change. Besides that I think it sounds right! |
