shnooblie. my own word. you can use it. the dictionary word is "shnooble" meaning "exactly one's own, with influences possibly, but no copying. copying's bad". so if i'm a Shnooble i am my own person and don't copy anyone else in everything i do. another great word which describes Eisley's sounds is... Sheizay! (other spellings include shabaie, shezie, shiezar)...it means "Wicked" !! _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? Well, if we are using that definition and not the classification known as pop music, such as Ashlee Simpson, then Marilyn Manson would have been pop during the Antichrist Superstar/Mechanical Animals era, but lately he's been losing his grip on pop culture SlipKnot, unfortunately, was never popular _________________ Someone peed in my Wheaties Nifty is officially MY word, like Donald Trump has "You're Fired" |

or beautiful hurricane pop NOT POP pop is a very generalized term. hell, even some songs by throwing muses were classified as pop (not too soon, honeychain), even some songs of the pixies were classified as pop by a lot of music critics. it's not a derogatory word. love pop!! eisley is dream pop though not manufactured pop like so many of their contemporaries. |

I frankly don't know what to call the style Eisley is playing but I guess I have always considered them part of the movement that perhaps Coldplay did not start but they were the first to provide with a mission statement. Something about wanting to prove that you can be pop without being superficial. That you can make music that touches the soul without being exclusive. I find those terms perfectly fitting Eisley |
