GAH! well, without all the bad luck i've been having, i'd have no luck at all! so i attended the kansas state large ensamble band festival, right? played chimes.. played glockenspiels... played vibraphones... played marimbas... and then i race home quickly and kick off my shoes and such and rock out to some golly sandra and marvy thangs before its time to get ready. so i get ready. my mind is cycling the line "OMG EISLEY TO-NI-HITE!" (said like a norwegian opera singer of course) and then low and behold, all of my friends who said they were going to go -- suddenly are either a. unreachable b. smoking pot c. not going, and never told me d. not able to drive so.... needless to say, tonight, i shall not see stacy dupree's beautiful face, and hear her wonderous piano playing to inspire me to write more songs, nor shall i see any of the people whom i told i would see at the beaumont club. so i apologize to those of you whom i said i would see. god, i wish i could drive. i need an eisleymobile. *super sigh* _________________

Walk or take Taxi or a Bus. There are many ways to get to the concert... I know if i was in your situation I would find any way possible to get there. _________________ http://www.nicholasvenaglia.com |

If it makes you feel any bettter, they only play about 6 songs, so it doesn't even feel like a real concert. I almost forgot that I even saw them on Sunday. _________________ "Aren't we all hanging from a fragile vine awaiting an inevitable plunge to doom while mice gnaw at our temporary safety? you guys dont realize that i live in : OTTAWA KANSAS. please, find the nearest bus stop for me, that doesnt lead to one of the 6 the element'ree schools. but yeah... im still so upset. i was quite tempted to walk, but i'd have never made it to Westport in less than 3 days... so the point is moot. on the bright side, i watched all the live recordings of eisley, and it was a ... sick twisted little substitute. _________________
