so for one thing i'm creating this topic at 6:08 and i have to get to class and won't read the replies until 10:30.

but i'm seeing them on 5-5 i want to go to the free show and signing on
5-7 (two hours away mind you) AND i'm going to see them on the new headlining tour. some of my friends think i have a problem. i think i'm just a devoted fan.

i know i'm not the biggest fan because there's that one guy who went to a billion NFG shows already, and helps out with the equipment. but i've been getting a lot of guff from my friends. i feel they just don't appreciate the commitment i have. some aren't big eisley fans so that's probably a clue (that they are insane).

so what do you guys think? what do you think kim, boyd, the band think?

okay i'm going to class...i swear.

i'm out the door. really.

see you in a few guys.

Well, it's your gas money. I don't know.
If they're like your favorite band then I'd go for it.

Because if I had a car and the money, I know that I would probably do what you're doing if it was Fall Out Boy.

If I had the money, I would do it. But hey thats just part of being a superfan. I get crap because I just saw them on the 6th, and I'm going to see them again in June. Hang in there, and maybe, just maybe, you will one day be the number one fan.

Road trips to see bands perform are awesome. Especially if you go with a friend or some family. awesome memories Smile I've traveled from Utah to California (who knows how many miles) and from where I live about 500-600 miles. the problem is funds and time. i can't yet drive myself (I'm old enough to, I just haven't had time to get my license yet) it's great though when St. George gets shows and you can just drive for 5-6 hours instead of having to get on a plane.
so; I think you're fine. Smile i'm way jealous of people who live within a radius where they can see a certain tour more than once though.

My friends used to pick on me for seeing a band a lot, but they finally got over it, after, oh, 17 shows. Hang in there. Cool

i drove 1300 miles to see them this year. I live in panama city, i saw them in jacksonville. then when my spring break came around, i drove where they were, which unfortunately enough for me was in erie, pennsylvania. but i got to talk with the girls before the show. so it was twenty hours of driving well spent.

I flew to Boise, Idaho from Texas to see them. Shyviolet joined me from Minnesota for the last half of that trip. I think that makes us hardcore. Cool

Don't ever question yourself about what you like or love to do just because other people give you lip. Trust me, I know, I get a lot of lip lol.

I am in a heavy metal band and my favorite band is SlipknoT... AND Eisley. People will be like "Whacha listening to?" And i'll be like "Vintage People by Eisley" and they'll be like o.O um.. WHY? And i'll be like "um.. why NOT?" TRUST ME, the reasons people give make me HAPPY that I'M the Eisley fan and they aren't.

So as far as your situation goes. Do your thing, have a good time, and tell us all about it, because I can probably be confident to say that you seem like a cool fan.
