That's gonna be on TV right? I mean ACL is on every Saturday night on channel 12 here. I just saw Jason Mraz on there.

i doubt it will be on tv... i was there last year and they had helecopters and video on all the stages... but in the last year i havent once seen any of the footage on tv. I know last year they had a webcast of most of the bands though which was really cool. just check the website when it gets closer for details i guess.

They always films some of it, but they could never film it all. Maybe if they used a separate film crew for each stage. So, no that won't happen. Especially not for PBS. We are talking about all day for three whole days. No one would film all that, unless they were deliberately archiving it. That would be super-expensive.

i bought my tickets when they were first made available because, as a college student in austin, it can be really depressing to have all these amazing shows coming through that i don't have the time/money to go to, and this festival has afforded me a whopping big bang for my buck.

i was greatly pleased with last year's line up, but when i got my e-mail today...i nearly squealed in a computer room full of liberal arts majors busily writing papers.

that is going to be a frickin' great weekend...

it will be a fantastic year

in response to someone above, they did play some of the sets this year on pbs: the flaming lips, wilco, and the shins...there were some more but I only caught those three
