I know they came here sometime ago, but could somebody remind me where and what events did they play in?

Thanks

this has nothing to do with the UK, but does your username have anything to do with the band twothirtyeight?

They played on the Main Stage at V-Fest 2003. Click on the "Journals" link and there is a whole section to read about their UK trip.
They have not returned yet, but hopefully will make it back there before long. They were well received by the UK crowd.

Played Chelmsford and Weston Park - VFest locations. These areas are located about 2-3 hours from London but the driver was on the wrong side of the van. cheers.

mind the gap.

it is quite hilarious, every time i am in london visiting zoe (brit*zoe on here), we get on the train and say "so, mind means be careful or watch out for."

it never really occured to us that 'mind the gap' would sound weird to anyone. same as when you are walking through low doorways here and someone yells "mind your 'ead!". daily occurances.

"dial" in Welsh means "revenge". If a welsh speaker enters an English phone booth, having paid the coin/phone card the next command the l.e.d screen throws at the customer is "revenge!" thus setting the tone for a confrontational conversation.
