silly(ish) poll this, but it has to be done.

whilst scanning through so many forums et al, i notice that people always short-hand the word "favourite". Much to my irritance they usually spell it "fav", not "fave". I think it's "fave", not "fav". "fav" is not how you pronounce the shorterned word of "favourite".

so which is it:

fav
fave

It depends on what country you're in. You drive on the left, we drive on the right. Same difference. Smile

I don't like abbreviating. Things are getting just a little out of hand nowadays. I find it hard to follow a conversation when chatting sometimes. *in best Cosby voice* With all the "lol"s and the "brb"s and the "lmao"s and the "h/o"'s and the frizzle frazzle's and the snazzle's and the Jello Puddin Pops.

Well anyways, IGGLTSMAMWAMN. (I'm gonna go listen to some music and maybe watch a movie now.)

That we are! Both forms of English.. the real version (IE, the one that us Brits uses) and, er, the other (the one that them American folk use) Razz Razz

I only really abbrieviate if i'm pushed for time. [how i love thee "brb". Actually, you can be sneaky when you're online, chatting to someone you really can not be bothered chatting to: just put "brb" and leave the conversation box open, ready for you to say "guess who's back?" (or something Rolling Eyes ) when you "come back".... ahem.] <<<<<------ bad use of brackets thar.

I always tend to type proper words - i can type relatively quickly anyway. even in texts I hardly abbrieviate. but anyways...
