I actually got to catch the Pillows and Noodles at the Knitting Factory in March.

They are awesome, but I adore Noodles now more than any other japanese band.

From Wikipedia:

Quote:
Gackt M.S. Camui (most often written in English, even in Japan; pronounced "ga-ku-to") is a song writer, vocalist, and multi-talented instrumentalist -- (trumpet, tuba, horn, trombone, piano, guitar, drums, bass), all other standard orchestral instruments, and most traditional Japanese instruments -- as well as a beloved celebrity amongst females, both in Japan and the international JPop fan community. Gackt claims to be a Norwegian vampire, as well as having been imbued with certain psychic powers after a fall off a boat at a young age. He is a former vocalist of Cains:Feel and Malice Mizer; thanks to him, Malice Mizer became well-known.
Gackt can speak Japanese, English, French, Mandarin, and Korean
