Post subject: What songs would YOU like to hear on the upcoming tour?
Posted: Wed May 25, 2005 12:36 pm I was pretty well set with their set list on the Winter West tour, I am still amazed they performed "Mr. Pine," but there are a few I'd especially love to hear. So I guess this thread is for the fans to just name their favorite songs, or which ones they'd love to hear on the Summer Suspension tour. Well, I always enjoy the old favorite "Over the mountains" as well as "Tree Tops" and "I wasn't Prepared." From Room Noises I love "Marvelous Things" (great music video for that by the way) "Memories" and "Lost at Sea." For some of the newer songs off Room Noises I really enjoy "Golly Sandra," "My Lovely," "Plenty of Paper," "One Day I Slowly Faded Away," and "Trolley Wood" which I think would sound very interesting live. HOWEVER, my absolute favorite song and the song I would love to have played more than any other at the concert is "Laughing City." Those are my choices, anyone else feel free to chime in here. --Tony the Great! _________________ "Maybe that's all a family really is; a group of people who all miss the same imaginary place." --Garden State |

This is a free and open forum, I can post anywhere I damn well please!! So BACK OFF!! If you have a problem with it, then it's T.S. for you. And who the hell is this Boyd guy? I'm not attacking him, but her doesn't own any territory on this board just as much as I don't, or anyone else. Get over yourselves. --Tony the Great!! _________________ "Maybe that's all a family really is; a group of people who all miss the same imaginary place." --Garden State |

come on, settle down boyd is the girls'/weston's dad, and their tour manager, merch designer, lots of things. he rules. he also created this forum, so yes, he does "own" territory. now, where you posted this thread is pretty much Boyd's space, to let us know the happenings of the band on tour, at home, ect. There is a reason for the "eisleyblog" section... to post eisley related things in. The friendly folk who replyed to your message were just saying that your thread would be more conveniently placed in the eisleyblog section... just trying to keep some organization ya know? anyways, Welcome to the Laughing city! p.s. my name is Tony too. _________________ Flutter girl killing me with her sunshine... she's so unaware that she's my melpomene. hi www.myspace.com/musicislove |

Uh....this is not exactly a free and open forum...there are RULES.... This is pretty much Boyd's Forum..... Boyd is the father of 4 of the 5 band members. You should read the rules for posting on this forum, before you post something.... you should post them in the proper area, and you should spend a minute to examine the threads before posting, so you don't post repetitive topics. We all enjoy posts from everyone, but if you can't play by the rules, then don't post here. Other than that....WELCOME! |
