What is the damn eisley font called?!

i'm not sure what you mean. like the font of the name? or the font on the webpage? maybe i'm just an idiot. but you can view source and figure that out if you're talking about the web page font.

i asked boyd this awhile ago... he said it's Franklin Gothic, a condensed version of it. Wink

That's definitely it. I can tell by the Y. I didn't think it was too obscure. You'll have to toy with the baseline and kerning, or make it one letter at a time, but it shouldn't be too hard to recreate that.

I was looking at the big Eisley on the front page last night actually and I got this big reminder of the 50's or 60's swag, whatever it is. The stuff that they sell at Target, all retro and whatnot.

I want a big retro lamp now.
