I gathered My thoughts and set out on that trail, Into the woods wearing sword and chainmale. I started to whistle and walked to the beat that my heart played constantly on repeat. The nightfall was chilly i slumbered right where i fell. Dreaming up adventures cause i had none to tell. Apon the morning i woke with a start for the beasts had blackened the horizon. They all surounded me, They all surounded us. And that's when the Giant Dragon jumped over the hill and he said, he said "No, no no, no no no way sir" "No,no no no no not today sir. You won't suround me you can't suround us" (Repeat first verse,Chorus,Bridge,Chorus 2x,STOP!) We both kind of put these lyrics together, I had written some and then sherri came and helped make them work better. she always does that, genius, that one is. It's about an old dragon telling a story about his prime time in his life of adventures and dragonness. thanks very a lot. -Stacy. |

There are certainly too few songs about dragons and their undertakings (when they're not hoarding treasure). I'm sure they appreciate the sentiment :) This song has a really light-hearted melody and rhythm that reminds me of wandering around on a fair day, with sort of a sad, cool breeze ... and then it picks up in the chorus and you can imagine the intensity of what's happening. Well done! |

Hooray! now i can sing along with real words! if there is one thing the world needs (aside from gasoline that smells like oranges instead of gasoline [because some spilled as i was taking a leaf blower to the repair shop and now my car stinks...]) its more songs about dragons! i wish i had a sword and chainmail... and could get surrounded by beasts... that sounds like fun... |

What cute songs. Maybe that is not the right word, but that is all that comes to mind. Cute and thought provoking. I compare it to the soundtrack to The Lion The Which and the Wardrobe. I read it so long ago but that is what I think of when I hear some of these songs. _________________ Jeremiah, the xray student. |

Sorry for bumping this topic out from nowhere, but well, I have this question... What is this song called "They All Surrounded Me"? I'm actually trying to buy the album and downloading(legaly, with archambault.ca) older songs, but I can't find this song... Well, I will try to read the FAQ's topics and things like this tomorrow in order to understand few things. I just discovered Eisley yesterday, and, damn, I live near Montréal, where Eisley had a show tonight, but I wasn't able to go there since I was working. Anyway, I suppose you don't give a *** but this is my way to present myself. So... Hehe, Hello everybody! Forgive me for me poor english with strange syntax, grammar, etc. My mother tongue is french. |

-Nicholas actually, not its not the mp3 on OGG is a live performance, the recording was done from the mixing board there exists no recording of They All Surrounded Me that is studio produced. Though it may have been recorded during the Room Noises sessions...yes, it was i think...and Stacy had to bring back the Dragon...yess...that's right i remember now...so only Boyd has a studio recording and fat chance getting that off him _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |

Granpaturtle, that is actually one of the best live recordings you folks have at OGG. I can't tell you how much I love it. BOWi, welcome. Your english grammar is actually better than a lot of native english-speakers here. Wow that totally blows. I know how you feel though. Just recently I downloaded "napster2go" and I had to upload this firmware. Well when I was installing it it reformatted my Dell DJ. All of my Moss Eisley tracks were deleted. I had to stop my self from crying... _________________ "Speak when you are angry - and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret" www.purevolume.com/247 |

I talked to Boyd about this song at the Detroit show, since its my favorite Eisley song! He said it was recorded in the studio, but the band didn't think it captured the intensity that it usually has when played live. I believe he said it might someday be released on iTunes or even a 7". Hopefully they'll re-record it though in the future, because the song is amazing! |
