I finally got to see Eisley play a show! They came to TT's which is a verrrry small venue, I was in front of Sherri and she looked so cute. In the middle of the show she mentioned how her arm was being scraped by her playing guitar and she showed us the scrapes. So I got some bandaids from my purse and when it was between songs I gave them to her. it was a great show, i want to see them again, sherri is awesome! |

I was there too! They were so good. It's wrong to have a crush on an entire band, isn't it? In a show full of highlights, I think 'My Lovely,' 'Just Like We Do,' and "Trolleywood' were my favorites. I hope they weren't too annoyed by the inconsiderate 'Blackened Crown' dude because they just have to come around here more often. The whole evening was kinda surreal for me actually. I was hanging out near the Eisley merch table and someone who looked suspiciously like Stacy mentioned something about her beverage to the people behind the desk. I wanted to ask, but I'm beyond shy so I couldn't really talk to anybody. Later, I see someone who looked suspisciously like Chauntelle talking to some fans in the same area. (Again, it sucks to be shy.) And a really tall guy who looked a lot like Jonathan was often seen wandering around. Then, during Lovedrug's set, the Stacy lookalike watched and sang along from the sidelines. By this time, I realized that it was actually the folks from Eisley and I couldn't believe they weren't being hounded for autographs and photo-ops. These guys are celebrities to me! It was all I could do not to stare. And I so wanted to ask for a hug or just say Hi, but I dunno, I'm afraid of being annoying. It'd be nice to be able to show my appreciation, y'know? For now, I hope the handheart was enough. Jeannette, I think your band-aids will make this a really memorable show for them. It was really sweet of you. And Brian, I saw a bunch of people taking photos, so maybe they'll pop up somewhere. |

i didn't bring my camera, i didn't know we could take pictures! i'm so used to shows with no cameras allowed I feel like they weren't too excited at first. Sherri didn't smile until after the like 2nd song, I figured they have played so many times that they were getting bored of it? But then they started getting into it and enjoying themselves I think. I hope they really had fun in boston and want to come back soon, I really want to see them again. |

I was there. It was pretty much a perfect night for me, so I suppose I can die happy now. Pilotdrift was absolutley amazing; I never got to hear all their songs or see them play, and I was so impressed by their set. I got to buy a copy of "Iter Facere" too, and they signed it for me. Lovedrug played a good show, and I got to hear 'Blackout', my favorite song from their album. Of course Eisley played a great set. The last time I saw them was in Hartford with New Found Glory, and this show was infininently better than the previous. The atmosphere was superior; a good Eisley crowd. The band seemed to be having fun. Blackened Crown! And Head Against the Sky! I don't think the night could have ended on a finer note than that. I left feeling euphorically happy after being so privledged as to be part of that night of pure musical greatness. It was worth being lost in Boston for a bit, then getting home at 5AM. The sun rising when you are going to bed, that's always interesting. _________________ Audioscrobbler Now

i still can't believe they played "blackened crown." that was the highlight of the night. that and "they all surrounded me." wow, i 've never been to a better show. TTs is officially my favorite venue. too bad i have to wait six months until i can legally get in. but it was cool having my hands covered in ink, because stacy had the same thing. i got to talk to weston and jonathan briefly. they were both nice. my sister talked to jonathan, but had no idea who he was. she didn't know he was in the band, she thought he was a roadie. it was hilarious. _________________ http://thegirlinthebearhat.tumblr.com/ |

I've got pictures, look! I don't think they could've played a better setlist.
Sorry, they're pretty much all the same. _________________ www.myspace.com/nifster |

I also saw Eisley for the first time. I'm really happy that they played at T.T. the Bears. It's probably the best intimate venue around Boston. I was really impressed by Pilotdrift and bought their album as well. Eisley started out a bit flat to be honest--I thought they were a bit nervous at the beginning. It was disappointing because they chose to start with Memories, my favourite song. But then they became much more comfortable and got into a groove and it turned out to be a great show. I'm glad that they played Blackened Crown and Head against the Sky--they were amazing. I think I was the only one calling for Dream for Me though... I saw Stacy and Jonathan walking around before the opening acts were playing and in between their sets. Stacy in particular passed by me several times. I wondered whether I should say hi to them, but I decided not to bother them before the show, out of shyness really. Here are the photos. Not the best, but I was concentrating on the music more than taking good pictures...

The setlist: Memories Mr. Pine My Lovely The Escaping Song Plenty of Paper Golly Sandra I Wasn't Prepared They All Surrounded Me Lost at Sea Just Like We Do Telescope Eyes Vintage People Tree Tops Marvelous Things Trolly Wood Blackened Crown (played instead of Sun Feet) Head Against the Sky Thank you to Granpaturtle and Ryan Fisher. I recognized them from pictures of them interviewing the band and introduced myself. There was a setlist sitting on Stacy's keyboard and I thought it was theirs, but they said it was up for grabs, so in a way I feel like they gave it to me, so thanks. This was my fifth time seeing the band. I've been lucky enough to catch them on every tour in different parts of the country. I'm originally from Seattle and saw them play there twice, then I was living in Missouri last summer and saw them (play actually in Detroit), and now I'm living in upstate New York. Caught them in Montreal a few months back and now I ventured out to Boston. It's usually too difficult to get out of work to see them on any day other than a Saturday night show, so I have to figure out when I get out to see them. As usual I had a blast. Pilotdrift is awesome and well worth checking out. Until next time... William |
