The "pedal" is an effect pedal -- distortion, flange, echo, etc. Stomp on it to turn it on, stomp on it again to turn it off. (hence, "stompbox") I think using a Strat (or something else with single-coil pickups) should get you pretty close to that sound. Closer than using a Gibson or Ibanez with double humbuckers, at least... |
