Whoops. I forgot to put Switchfoot as an option. I'm sure there'd be more Snow Patrol fans that Switchfoot fans.... Right? .... right?

I put snow patrol.

I had a really strong urge to put Brand New...because they've been one of my favorite bands since I first heard 70 times 7.....like 4 years ago or something like that....but for some reason I put snow patrol....maybe because I'm listening to "How to be dead" at this very moment.

I would've probably picked Coldplay if it wasn't for me being totally offended by "X&Y" and it's standard of mediocracy.

Brand New, solely because 'Deja' happened.

Ditto! Except I usually say "mediocrity." Wink

Who is that? It looks vaguely like John Nolan of Straylight Run, and there's the same line in "The Tension and the Terror".

I'm so glad there are others who don't like X&Y. None of the melodies have ended up stuck in my head thus far, and that's what Coldplay songs are supposed to do.
Brand New neeeeds to tour again. They're awesome on their own and they brought me Eisley. Who knows what cool band they'll bring with them next?

Apparently Straylight Run's done with the contract with Victory after their EP this fall. Wouldn't it be something if they signed with Warner and toured with Eisley (after all, they've already had some LI flavor with Brand New)?

Maybe Switchfoot should be an option?

Brand New. i saw eisley on the brand new / eisley tour but didn't stick around to see Brand New. About 2 months later i actually got around to listening to deja and now i'm kicking myself for not sticking around and checking them out at the show.

Eisley has actually played one show with Straylight Run. Straylight Run opened for them on the last show of the Brand New tour ... er, not the BN tour, because BN didn't play that night, and Eisley were headliners. In NY.

My jaw just dropped because of how awesome that sounded.

I agree. Eisley + Straylight Run would be a dream.
