i was just wondering how much the band members actually check this website, if at all?? do they read the small posts like these? or is boyd just all by his lonesome.

oh, and by the way...

all that is played lately in dEliA*s (for those who don't know...a very popular store...like american eagle or abercrombie or something, but more trendy and just well, better..) at my mall is eisley. non-stop. theyre catching on tremendously around detroit. Confused

They come around frequently and browse, or so I'm told.

They check it a lot, we're told. But since it's usually just quick, they don't reply much anymore.

hey.

Well... it's weird. and, i suppose disconcerting to you guys... possibly
comes off as insincere... but the band does read. Sometimes I don't even
know it's happening... then I'll be talking to Stacy and she'll know all this
stuff from reading the forum. Especially tour journals - to find out what
people thought about the show, etc. But sometimes, they read all the
drama and stuff like, "why do they change their hair color every day?!"
kind of frivolity. Then, it spreads like wildfire in our ranks... "they said
WHAT??!!" ha ha.. or... "our fans are so nerdy and wonderful... that's why
we like them so much..." The minute pop-icon-worshipping fans invade,
that will change. So... let's make sure Eisley never gets on pop radio. jk.
sorta.

The band is writing like fools right now. Demo's and raw ideas and
finished ideas in their nifty new Mac... in garage band. I think i've heard
like 7-8 new tunes in the last few weeks. When they're not doing
something obligatory for the band, they're trying to catch up on being
normal kids; staying up till 5am drawing and painting, listening to music,
hanging with friends, going to Starbucks, the mall, movies...etc.

NOTE: We are working on creating a place on the website for each band
member to journal... post pics, whatever they want to do. Like... a less
robust Xanga for them on Eisley.com. My guess is - Sherri and Stacy will
harness it's power... Chauntelle will occasionally post, Weston will come
one intermitantly with weird, bizarre snips and pics and clips... etc.
Garron? i dunno. We'll see where this goes, but it's a good idea. and it's
being worked on right now. gRegor and I have been chatting every night.

I'm going to have an area too and will post tour journals and updates
and all manner of my own muse, engagements, stimulus, potpourri,
incense, rubber snakes and diamonds.... diamonds for EVERYONE...

Personally, I've wondered if any of them know I exist.

All of that is so great! I love the idea of them having their own sort of blurb spaces. Sometimes I'd really like to hear less of what we thought of the shows, and way more of what they thought. They are, after all, the ones playing! Yeah! Diamonds!

I wonder about that too. Like if they hear little mistakes or whatever that we would never pick up on.
