I could see Eisley in AP's My (Parents') Crib, I hate they stopped doing it though, it was one of my favorite things about the mag I don't think a band needs huge mansions and pimped out rides, if they are making the same amount of money as if they were working a decent paying job so they can buy houses and start families if they wanted to then in my book they're succesful. |

It's refreshing to hear that in an industry dominated by synthesized pop stars, and that's really what makes Eisley so easy to root for. The Cribs description was also very entertaining . cryptictonight wrote: I keep on thinking that same thing though. How do you define sucess? Yup. It definitely shouldn't be based purely on record sales or market potential, that's for sure. heymela wrote: Even though its selfish of me I really hope that Eisley doesn't get too successful. I want them to be successful enough so they don't have to want for things but not so successful that they lose sight of who they are and the kind of music they want to make. It's interesting how many people feel that way, not just about Eisley, but about many indie-slanted bands. I really can't see them forgetting who they are because of their roots and very down to earth attitude. And I would love to see an Eisley CRIBS. That would be hilarious and wonderful! _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.'
