Ok peopleI'm mad. I've waited a stink'n year for the concert at trees. I begged and begged radiant to play a show with Seven Channels. And then they schedule it with Moss Eisley even and I still miss it. ERRRRRR!!! I want hear how it was. I would have been there. _________________ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=lovemorethanever http://www.myspace.com/singinbuddy "Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was burried along with her name, Nobody came." |

RADIANT: bad mix, couldn't hear Dragan's guitar or Levi's voice. But how can those guys NOT sound good?? Played some new songs, which were really good. Love these guys! MOSS: Took a couple of songs to warm up, and then off they went! Incredible as always. You know what I love so dearly about these guys?? There's no rockstar crap happening at all! I love their personality. I think the world is going to latch onto these guys and love them as much as we do! SEVEN CHANNELS: The new guys rock! Especially the bass player. He puts on a show, and is so great. Their new songs SUCK!! They are so trying to latch onto the whole Euro thing, and it's just not who they are. I think they are a rock kind of band, and they need to stick with that! PLEASE! Their olds songs are still great. Keep it real! OHNO: Great performers, decent songs. I could see them making a living at it, but never anything huge. Really catchy, pop rock kind of stuff. Great front man. All in all, a cool show. Thanks Dan for setting it up! You rock!!!!!! |

great show!!! I think the sound for moss eisley has been much better at the liquid lounge though. radiant was cool. I liked the song "I see the Lord" that they played last. Good demos too. 7c's isnt really my style, but they are good at what they do. Ohno was pretty good though. _________________ are you a member of the slaves to their members? |

Radiant was truly great. I need to buy their CD! I have heard so many great things about them . Moss Eisley-- what can I say.. I love them. They were the best. I am with who ever wrote the whole thing about no rock star ego trip here. That's why I like them so much & that's why I had trouble with the other two bands last night. 7 channels- good, but not my kind of music and ohno - a little too pop and wanna be glam rock star-ish. In our opinion, the bill should have been reversed... but no one asked.. |

YES!! I totally agree! The show would have made a lot more sense in reverse order! Did anyone else notice that the crowd was really good for Radiant, was even better for Moss, and then died when 7 channels hit the stage?? Nothing against those guys. I made this observation, too: isn't it funny that Tree's is one of the biggest, most well-known clubs in Deep Ellum, and three of the four bands that played are all made up of Christians? And Radiant's last song was "I See The Lord"? Those guys RULE!!!!! |

Ah that sucks Seven C. used to be my favorite band back in the day. That sux that they change their music that much. I talked to Levi today and he said that show was great. *bangs head on table* Why God why!?!? Anyways someone mentioned buying a radiant cd. They got 2 cds out by them. "Year of holidays" which is more delerious sounding. Then the cd they promote the most is "Seven" they actually give copies of this away. It has "Ticket", "I see the Lord", "Sailor", "Mirror", "The love", "Broken", and "Black Umbrela". http://radiantmusic.tv/discography.htm To contact them about the cds email them at radiant@radiantmusic.tv _________________ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=lovemorethanever http://www.myspace.com/singinbuddy "Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was burried along with her name, Nobody came." |

You guys are so cool...here Moss leaves the show knowing they sucked worse than any other show in recent history (sherri's words true - have been absolutely gone; unable to practice); no, I'm serious....they were almost depressed - feeling the weight of the upcoming Coldplay dates - having so much to own up to - and there were so many technical errors with their set; they'd gotten home at 2:30 that very morning from Nebraska; and you guys get on the board with such encouraging words. I TOLD them that even though there were problems, there were many high points...some kind of vulnerable confidence that resonated with people...even me. It was weird. They honestly were afraid to look on the board today in fear of really bad reviews. I told them how supportive and kind everyone was - they were shocked and moved. Daniel and a few Midlake guys hung around and went to the Vineyard with us....but they've been woodshedding it for hours now - the last opportunity to rehearse for the first show at Verison Theatre in Houston. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. It's true, I've never seen a bad show by Moss. As Andrew said I've heard alot of good bands that have played bad sets. I know prolly aproximately 35 local/indie/national bands, and met even more. I've heard alot of good sets and alot of horrible ones. Moss Eisley is honestly in my top 5 of best live show. They're up there with Rhythm. And I'm not trying to sugarcoat it or anything like that. Don't fret over a missed note as long as you go out there and give it your all, the audience will love it. _________________ http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=lovemorethanever http://www.myspace.com/singinbuddy "Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was burried along with her name, Nobody came." |
