Reason is that I live 5 hours from Dallas. _________________ ![]() "Speak when you are angry - and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret" www.purevolume.com/247 |

Hm. Yeah. I dunno. I see people getting in if they try. But there might be some wicked restriction on this one. Blah. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I was really looking forward to going to this. I get out of class at 1:15 on Tuesdays and it's only 3 hours from Norman, but alas, sold out. I guess they won't play Dallas again until New Years Eve, which I will be sure to attend. _________________ EvilSpace |

Chad's shirt thing is quite brilliant. ![]() I need a "Chad was within an hour from me and I almost met him, but he was too busy making out with some Myspace chick and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirt. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

It's getting to the point where if eisley is not the opening act then the headlining act is probably big enough to play at the Nokia thing. It only matter of time.. maybe a year, before Eisley doesn't fit in Deep Ellum either. EDIT: btw, why does the gypsy ballroom have such a monopoly on eisley? I haven't seen them at Tree's in almost a year (last new year's) _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

I was told Eisley's booking agent has a strong relationship with the Gypsy Tea Room management. People tend to work with those they know and trust. The same people run Trees and Gypsy, but Gypsy holds more people, and the physical layout of the bar, etc., allows easier monitoring of underage fans, to keep them from drinking, etc. Plus, a few times they've played at Gypsy recently, it wasn't really an Eisley show...NFG, Swichfoot, etc. Not Eisley's choice. I agree with you, i think Eisley will outgrow these places before too long. I wish Eisely could play a show at The Granada Theater on Greenville Ave. They've recently revamped it, and i've seen 2 concerts there, it is a fabulous venue. |
