Random question. I was just wondering, because in my school... we're not too formal. We always call our gym teachers by their first name, I call my guitar teacher Mr. B, my band teacher Mr. M (or Teeve), my IST teacher Mr. G and last year I had a teacher I just called, "buck"

So yeah, was/is your highschool formal in teachers names?

haha, do you actually call your teachers that?

i remember last year, at first i felt mean calling mrs. buccholtz 'buck', but she didn't mind... i still do it when i see her in the hallway.

I had an algebra teacher that I used to call Princess. She hated it.

This year? Pretty basic (I have boring teachers)

But last year, that was cool.
My friend and I called my English teacher (Mrs. McCarthy) "Jeremy," our social studies teacher (Mr. House) "Mr. Missing," our French teacher by her first name (Wendy) and our band teacher was most commonly referred to as "T-to-the-Rim" (his name was Mr. Trimmer).

If I were a teacher, I'd make my students call me Queen Carrie.

Golly, Poster

I called my teachers Mr. (enter last name), and I always called female teachers always Miss (last name). and if they coached a sport, I would call them Coach.

Or sometimes, I would pull out a "Dude!"

If I become a teacher, I wonder what kids would call me...My last name sounds odd with Mister...maybe it's because i'm not used to it.

It depends on the teacher for me. Some teachers we'll call by their full names, others by "Mr. A" or whatever the first letter of their last name is. Others, we'll just call by their last name... "Lage". Or simply their last initial, "A". Which is funny cause you are literally just saying, "Hey A! What..". Oh, and everyone calls our physics professor by the name "Doc". Some other teachers have nicknames like that, too.

I remember when I was younger and lived in Texas, we would call people by "Mrs. FIRST NAME HERE" or "Miss FIRST NAME HERE". Heh. I loved that.

Haha, we do that with Mr. M

We'll be like, "HI M! WASSUUUPPP!?"

And it's funny 'cause he's this democratic, yet kind of proper guy in his late 40's/early 50's
