it actually reminds me of the Magnum P.I. theme song...if you're old enough to remember the telivision show.

It's got a heavier Eisley sound that's for sure. Kinda eerie too.

That is exactly the aspect of Eisley that I love and is, in part, why I am so fond of Head Against The Sky, Over The Mountains, Plenty of Paper and Blackened Crown - the eeriness! Very Happy

I agree. I think those are some of their best songs. I know they began with a slightly different sound from which the likes of Pretender came, and while that may not be their best song, nor their most favored, it is along a similar vein and I think that is when they really shine. I think the band has grown up a lot since Pretender.

I am old enough, but I can't say that I agree.

My memories of seeing it at Austin City Limits:
I thought Sherri (I think it was Sherri? Don't remember.) said they were playing a new song and I thought she said Hit Singles, but it obviously wasn't.
Umm, the vocals are FREAKING AMAZING. I don't really remember anything about instrumentals or really anything, just being blown away by those pretty voices.

it's great from what I've heard so far.

its got an oddly "non-Eisley"-like driving guitar part.
its more of a constant chug of guitar with
a few little tempo changes as fills.
there's an awesome back-and-forth vocal part
at the beginning between sherri and stacy.
sherri starts then it abruptly changes to stacy.
really, really cool.
beautiful harmonies (as usual) towards the end of the song.
think like 'on avery island' neutral milk, kind of.
regardless, its good.
