My memories of seeing it at Austin City Limits: I thought Sherri (I think it was Sherri? Don't remember.) said they were playing a new song and I thought she said Hit Singles, but it obviously wasn't. Umm, the vocals are FREAKING AMAZING. I don't really remember anything about instrumentals or really anything, just being blown away by those pretty voices. _________________ Just to lay with you, there's nothing that I wouldn't do (save lay my rifle down). |

its got an oddly "non-Eisley"-like driving guitar part. its more of a constant chug of guitar with a few little tempo changes as fills. there's an awesome back-and-forth vocal part at the beginning between sherri and stacy. sherri starts then it abruptly changes to stacy. really, really cool. beautiful harmonies (as usual) towards the end of the song. think like 'on avery island' neutral milk, kind of. regardless, its good. _________________ "Daddy please hear this song that I sing In your heart there's a spark that just screams For a lover to bring a child to your chest that could lay as you sleep And love all you have left like your boy used to be Long ago wrapped in sheets warm and wet" --neutral milk hotel |
