Big warning on the "going red" thing. It is super high maintenance. Roots grow out every two weeks, you start having to do touch ups, every three weeks, then it dries your hair all out....bleh....and getting the red out! ha! You have to go darker, which she did....black. Now we will have to have it professionally removed, when we can. She wants to go back natural, but no one in Tyler is skilled enough to remove color without ruining your hair. Just something to think about. |

Just something to think about. good call, Kim. my sister went red, and it looked cute for a while, then her roots grew in. but it wasn't that big of a deal for her because a) she didn't care and b) her hair color was close to the red she colored it--so it blended nicely. good luck coloring it and all |

I've been red since last year, and maybe I'm just lucky... but my hair color fades as it grows out so it's not noticable at all. These are the stages it was in for AT LEAST four months: Then I cut it and it was natural again: Sooo... it all really depends what you use, what color your hair naturally is, and how well it holds hair dye. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me! i'm gonna marry the mars volta. |

Oh yeah... p.s. I've been dying my hair since I was 10... and I'm 16 now, I've NEVER had to strip out color, and I've even done really dark browns that ended up black. But if you're unsure, ALWAYS try out semi-perm first, because otherwise you might end up with something you hate. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me! i'm gonna marry the mars volta. |
